G03-500 - Concrete Test Hammer

The Concrete Test Hammer is a hand held instrument used for testing the quality of hardened concrete. On new structure, the instrument can be used to give an indication of the gain in concrete strength, while on existing structures, it can be used to gain an estimate of the uniformity of the concrete. The instrument works on the principle that the rebound of an elastic mass impacting on a surface is a function of the hardness of the structures itself. Harder the surface, the greater is the rebound distance.

G03-510 - Ultrasonic PV Concrete Tester

Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Concrete Tester is used for the determination of faults, voids, crack etc. in-situ or on precast concrete and for long-term monitoring of structures subject to environmental conditions. This gives data concerning the homogeneity of the concrete, by generating pulse of sound into the concrete and measuring the time taken by the sound wave to travel from the transmitter to receiver probe through the materials.

G03-520 - Concrete Cover Meter/Rebar Locator

The Microprocessor based device Cover Meter is intended to define position, depth and size of the reinforcement bars using a probe. The probe searches using a version of "pulse induction" techniques proved to give more accurate results in areas of bar congestion. When the instrument selects the bar size accurately, then precise depths can be displayed.

G03-525 - Crack Width Microscope

The Crack Width Microscope is a high quality product designed for measuring crack width both in concrete and other materials. The high definition microscope is connected to an adjustable light source, which provides a well illuminated image under all working conditions and a scale with a least count of 0.01 mm gives base values.

G03-530 - Demountable Mechanical Strain Gauge

Demountable Mechanical Strain Gauge, popularly known as DEMEC was developed at the CC-UK to enable strain measurements to be made at different parts of a structure using a single instrument. The DEMEC consists of a dial gauge attached to a steel bar.

G03-532 - Concrete Corrosion Monitor

A fixed conical point is mounted at one end of the bar, and a moving conical point is mounted on a knife edge pivot at the opposite end. The pivoting movement of this second conical point is measured by the indicator. The expansion of the corrosion (iron oxides) ofcarbon steel reinforcement may induce mechanical stress that can cause the formation of cracks and disrupt the concrete structure. If the rebars have been poorly installed and are located too close to the concrete surface in contact with the air, concrete may be detached from the concrete mass by the rebars corrosion and may fall down. To measure corrosion we have corrosion monitor.
